Shade the planet – Reflective belt


In other posts I have mentioned the fact that it is too late to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere due to overpopulation and other factors. I have mentioned other ways to shade the planet, including particles at the LaGrange point and atmospheric dust. My latest idea is to reflect a small portion of sunlight by placing reflectors in orbit. Hundreds of reflective arrays, about a mile in diameter, could be placed in geo-synchronous orbit to create a reflective belt around the equator. This would reflect a portion of the sunlight back out into space and be part of a solution to reduce global warming. Just an idea.

Russian Billionaires

Russian Billionaires Why don’t Russian billionaires spend their money on the needs of the Russian people, instead of laundering it into western banks? Surely there are poor people in Russia who could use a hand. An orphanage or a rural community on hard times. A bridge needed or a farm tractor somewhere. Russian Election Interference The US needs to retaliate against Russia for their interference in our elections. It needs to be a cyber action that is severe enough to make them stop any more interference. Problem is, our infrastructure is more thoroughly controlled by computers than theirs. Hydroelectric dams, power plants, factories etc. are connected to the internet using SCADA (System Control and Data Acquisition) software. This allows process computers, such as Allen-Bradley or Siemens, to be controlled over the internet. Plant Managers!
